Chris Brown may not be topping charts like he once did, but there’s no denying that he beats the competition hands down when it comes to the quantity of music he releases.
The R&B singer shocked the industry when he uncaged 45-track album ‘Heartbreak On A Full Moon’ last Fall; he surprised even more when he bolted on a 12-track bonus set for Xmas – bringing the combined total of songs on the LP to 57.
While fans rejoiced, others scratched their heads their heads in confusion.
Well, it appears there’s a method to the arguable madness – according to Chris.
See what we mean below…
Taking to Instagram, C. Breezy posted the following tally with word that the LP is apparently Platinum:
ALERT!!!!!! ? LET ME EXPLAIN…. HBOAFM IS A DOUBLE ALBUM,(? 57 songs is the equivalent to four albums in quantity) SO AS A DOUBLE ALBUM SELLING 500k equates as double. 608k WHICH MEANS WE ARE PLATINUM!!!!??????????? For what it’s worth, the RIAA have yet to issue any such plaque.
In any case, it appears Chris has found a loop-hole in the “system” and is finessing his way to plaques on plaques on plaques.
