Tina Turner has dedicated much of her life to thrilling audiences worldwide, hence’s it’s only fitting that she’s saluted accordingly.
The 2018 Grammys will do exactly that on January 28th, for it’s been announced that the Queen of Rock will receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

Per a statement issued moments ago, Turner leads the list of honorees that is also comprised of Queen, Hal Blaine, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Louis Jordan, and the Meters.
The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates performers who have made outstanding contributions of artistic significance to the field of recording.
Notable in its timing, news of the honor comes as 78-year-old Turner gears up to share her life-story via a new book and West End theater run in London.
