Well, that didn’t take long.
Just moments after Kendrick Lamar’s history-making involvement with Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ soundtrack was announced, the LP’s lead single ‘All The Stars’ has been uncaged.
A collaboration with label-mate SZA, the hard-hitting track precedes the February 9th release of the LP – which has been christened ‘Black Panther: The Album’.

Sonically, this manages to fit the aesthetic and scenic scale of the film, while also mirroring what’s currently working at radio.
Would love to see this pushed with the ferocity of a lead single from a traditional album because it’s that good.
Between this and a number of other high-profile releases, 2018 is off to an awesome start musically.

It’s cool for a soundtrack but not something I would listen to personally. Love Kendrick and SZA tho. And i Esspecially all the black excellence involved in black panther. It’s shaping up to the a spectacular event.
