Jessie J is continuing to shine light on her empowerment anthem ‘Queen.’
Lifted from upcoming album ‘R.O.S.E,’ the self-affirming song resonated with many upon its release for its uplifting lyrics and J’s powerful vocal delivery.
The latter is a trait she showcases in earnest on a newly released acoustic version of the song.
Ahead of its arrival, the British belter said of the stripped back incarnation:
The imperfections make it REAL.
One song.
One feeling.
One take.

Amazing.
We actually gravitate towards this more than the original, for the acoustic spin allows for the lyrics to pierce through that much more. And also, it spotlights the beauty embedded in her vocal range.

Ya’ll stay trying to make it happen for this girl. She can sing, but she oversings also and it seems fake. A little like Christina Aguilera after she lost most of her belting range…… now she screams notes instead of holding the note. This girl can sing but is missing the “IT” factor and that’s why she sells no records and does NOT stay booked
Who?
One song.
One feeling (nauseous).
One flop.
She’s so annoying.
She always sounds good!! ??
