Just months after news broke about Janet Jackson‘s divorce to Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana the rumor mill began swirling with whispers the pop royal had rekindled a relationship with music producer, mogul Jermaine Dupri. Fuel was only added to that fire when Jackson, whose ‘State of the World’ tour wrapped in Atlanta in mid-December, was spotted hanging out with the So So Def hitmaker some 8 years after their breakup.
Our friends at ET recently caught up with Dupri to dish about his latest happenings, namely being honored with the Breaking Barriers Award at the 6th annual Global Spin Awards airing Feb. 22nd on Revolt TV. Of course, the opportunity was not missed to quiz him on the latest with he and Jan.
Look inside for his response to the hoopla:

Janet is my girl but…. pre planned PR much? Get that machine cranked before Super Bowl and continue to make success your best revenge girl!! ?
She’s already secured her bag with her husband..?
You mean with her 200 million she made from her own career? ?
Not to mention her brand being estimated at 1 billion-BEFORE she was married.
Janet doesn’t need his money! She’s one of the few that kept her coin in tact! She’s been in this industry for decades! I think she knows a little something about her business affairs!
Justine Skye has a new song out and an album coming out next week where is the post?
Because we don’t care, sis.
Justine Skye is everything! I wish they would cover her. Same people who whine about racism people not branching are the same one hollering we don’t care. Listen to her music seriously.
From her lips, or it’s bullsh*t.
Nothing wrong with them having a friendship. I just don’t want to see him try to touch ANY part of her career ever again. Those were very critical years for Janet and JD totally messed it up and kept going in spite of the “feedback” from fans. Even Jimmy & Terry tried to tell her. Those were terrible years.
Their relationship is so pure. I love them.
I’ve noticed that Janet always appeared to be in a really great space , mentally , when they were together. If she’s able to move on and forgive, then it all must be worth it! As long as she’s around good people and remain happy, I’m fine with whatever is happening between the two of them!
