Mars, who took home six Grammy’s at last Sunday’s ceremony, teased the trek last night and has today followed up with the formal announcement.
Set for 12 US stops, thus far only the cities have been revealed – with the dates themselves due imminently.
The extended leg comes after the ’24k Magic Tour’ became 2017’s top grossing live concert series by a solo act – amassing over $200 million. And with that total being tallied before scheduled stadium dates in Europe and now these new shows, the tour may well be on course to become one of the highest grossing shows of all time.
For Cardi, the gig is a huge coup. Beyond her blazing success on the Billboard Hot 100 (which includes a solo #1), it’ll serve as the primary live vehicle to promote her hotly anticipated debut album.
