It’s no question Justin Timberlake will occupy the top spot on next week’s Billboard 200 with his next album, ‘Man of the Woods.’ What’s of concern to his faithful followers, however, is the report the set is on track to move his lowest first week numbers to date.
As we reported here, the set – released February 2 – was initially predicted to move 315-325,000 its first week. However, as the projection was rendered before his show-stopping Super Bowl Halftime show, many assumed the figure would increase drastically after the highly rated showing.
That assumption, as Billboard is reporting, has proven itself false. Details inside:
…Man of the Woods, is on course for a No. 1 debut on next week’s Billboard 200 chart, according to industry forecasters.
Prognosticators suggest the pop star’s latest effort, which was released on Feb. 2 through RCA Records, could launch atop the chart with around 300,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Feb. 8.

As we previously reported, if the figure above rings true, ‘Man of the Woods’ will deliver the lowest first week sales of his career.
