The widely successful trio cover ‘Complex‘ magazine and used its time with the publication to spill all on the difficulties they faced when they tried to escape ‘300 Entertainment.’
Offset revealed:
300 was the biggest hurdle. They tried to hold us against our will. It wasn’t never no in-house hurdles we ever had, like where it’s been a problem…300, that was the biggest thing, going through times and situations with them.
Their ‘Quality Control’ boss added…
For 18 months, we couldn’t sell no product.Look at My Dab’s” impact. “They created that whole [dabbing] movement. It was one of the biggest songs of that year…but you ain’t see it on iTunes,” he added. “We couldn’t sell it. We couldn’t stream it. We was in a battle where it was like we were being shackled down.
