Normani is ready for her solo close-up.
The fiery Fifth Harmony performer officially set sail on her singular journey yesterday with the debut of Khalid collaboration ‘Love Lies.’
With the 21-year-old striking out on her own, two consistent questions have arisen – what can we expect of her album and what is the future of 5H.
In a brief but sweet interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio, the rising star revealed all.
Details below…
When speaking on her as yet untitled solo LP, Normani confirmed that she’s about “30% in” and that “there’s gonna be some bad ass collabs.”
Addressing the fate of Fifth Harmony, she offered fans hope saying:
“We’re resilient. It’s literally been us against the world. Whether that’s together or apart. So we’ll always have some place to call home – and that’s Fifth Harmony.”
Exciting times.
It appears that while 5H will remain the base, the ladies are respectfully allowing one another to explore the length and breadth of their creativity.
