Set for unwrapping on Valentine’s Day (February 14th), the track is lifted from the ‘Love, Simon’ movie soundtrack.
It also serves as the first fruit from studio sessions between the talented young stars, who previously appeared together in the video for ‘Young Dumb & Broke.’
With Khalid riding high from the Platinum success of debut album ‘American Teen’ and anticipation sky-high for Normani’s solo debut, the track comes at an opportune time for both artists.

She’s an ok vocalist. I mean if she didn’t have the backing of Khalid in this track she wouldn’t be doing well on her own. Even her time in fifth harmony she hasn’t really stuck out that well. It’ll do well I’m sure but it’ll be because of Khalid. The Grammy winning artist.
Right, her voice is just airy and doesn’t even have a uniqueness that would justify her being solo, but then neither did Camilla.

I’m excited for her. The girl has been humble shes also been the most patient passionate and hardworking of them all. She has that old school artist feel about her, no bragging no fake persona or drama to appeal. She’s about her business and about building.
It’s her 1st dalliance, give her the same chances the other girls had. Cmila had 5/6 attempts before she got something worth talking about, Dinah had a who Christmas mixtape and a boom boom bomb, Ally and Lauren had about 4 flops each. No need to over analyse how this does.
Ally only has two songs. Lauren’s song with Steve isn’t really a flop…
I do agree with you on Normani though.
