The internet went nuts last week when all five Spice Girls were photographed having lunch together, a reunion that spurred unconfirmed reports the ladies were gearing up for a world tour.
But, just as the story was making its rounds, one of the group’s members – Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) – quickly quelled the rumors.

Beckham, who recently took to New York to show off her autumn/winter collection for 2018’s New York Fashion Week, told Vogue:
“I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour,” said to Vogue…
“It was so great to see the girls. We had such a fun lunch. It was really, really, really lovely. I still speak to them all individually, but for us all to get together was really lovely.”
The quote above follows the group statement (released after the ladies were spotted at lunch) that set the tour rumor wheels in motion.
“We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls. The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together.
