Radio programmers in the United States have decided to throw their support behind Nicki Minaj’s new single ‘Chun-Li’ much to the surprise of fans who believed its sister ‘Barbie Tingz’ would take centre stage commercially.
Awesome news below..
Fuelled by pure sales and hype generated by user-generated videos like the one above, ‘Chun Li’ now stands as the Most-Added track on Rhythmic radio this week after earning fresh support from 40 radio stations.
With this, the single outperforms Drake‘s ‘Nice for What’ on the platform and can expect its epic on iTunes to be extended in the coming weeks.
The track’s clean and dirty version moved over 37,000 pure units within the first 24 hours of its release marking a sign of positive things to come for the track’s parent album.
A due date is yet to be set.
As of today, the song has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide and sits at #25 on iTunes global chart.
