Fifth Harmony‘s run was quite the roller-coaster. Indeed, while it was characterised by many a high, there were a number of notable bumps – with one of the most pronounced being the departure of Camila Cabello in 2016.
The split was the definition of acrimonious and saw both sides avoid explicit mention of the other during their respective promotional runs.
However, it seems time is a healer. Because, with 5H on hiatus and solo stardom beckoning, the ladies are expressing mutual support.
See what we mean below…
US Weekly caught up with Normani at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards and quizzed her on Cabello – whose enjoyed ample success with break out smash ‘Havana.’
Commendably, the Houston native was full of praise. She said:
“She’s killing it. She’s freaking killing it. I’m super proud of her,” gushed the X Factor alum. “She is in her own space and she’s happy.”
Normani’s words come a month after Cabello told UK journalist Dan Wootton that she too had no hard feelings:
“I don’t have room or desire to have any bad feelings with people. The reason I don’t like talking about it is because I don’t want to fight. I genuinely wish [the group] the best and I just have love for them and the whole journey we went through.”
*************
Great to see the climate is no longer frosty.
Truth be told, we don’t think it’s entirely far fetched to see all five of the ladies regroup at some point.
For, with enough time and distance from the drama, it could prove advantageous for all to touch base with the 5H brand – even if only to enhance their solo careers.
