Today brought with it news rap star Fabolous was officially charged with assaulting longtime girlfriend Emily Bustamante. Reportedly facing up to 10 years and thousands of dollars in fines if convicted on counts of aggravated assault and making terroristic threats (both in the third degree), the 40-year-old Grammy nominee learned of the charges just a week after turning himself in for the alleged abuse.
Like we reported here, Fab has been subject of widespread ridicule and criticism on social media after the story broke he “knocked Bustamante’s teeth out.”
Now, as the news continues to dominate headlines many fans and fellow artists alike are distancing from the ‘Holla Back’ hitmaker. Those who have publicly expressed support for him (in one way or the other), on the other hand, have been met with swift judgment from online communities. Case in point? Lil Kim & Lil Mo…
First, there’s Lil Mo. The songstress, who most famously cranked out the duets ‘4ever’ and ‘Superwoman’ with the rapper, came under fire when she took to Revolt TV recently to share her thoughts on his case.
Offering strong words of support and defense (saying she would ‘Olivia Pope the whole situation’ before letting someone take him down)

Then, there’s Kim. The rapstress, who openly detailed her history with domestic violence with rapper ex-boyfriends Notorious B.I.G. & Mr. Papers (which she claims led to some of the surgery she’s had on her nose), was slammed for bringing Fab on stage during her weekend show at NYC’s Terminal 5.
The two, who trade bars on the Queen Bee’s latest single, ‘Spicy,’ shared the stage just hours after the shocking video of Fab hurling maniacal threats at the mother of his children.
