Cardi was meant to release her album in OCTOBER, Nicki’s choice to release this week has been in the works for over 9 months. We can’t expect artists to stop their business to suit the needs of other artists. Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown released their debut albums a week apart from one another; I love Cardi but I want her to compete rather than just have the way opened for her because people are tired of Nicki being the only dominant female rapper – allow them to compete BUT also coexist in peace. S**t like this is part of the problem with Cardi’s success.

Nicki has been talking about how she was about to drop her album since January 2017. A 2018 was not originally in the cards. Quite annoying, I don’t wish her bad but I don’t think she will make a huge impact like before.
