Apple Music has won an auction for the screen rights for a movie named ‘Songwriter.’
Its subject? The groundbreaking singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran.
The documentary is to give the world fly-on-the-wall access into Sheeran’s life as he enters the next phase of his flourishing career and will offer never-before-seen moments pulled from the elusive artist’s life.
Directed by his cousin Murray-Cummings the project was picked up for a seven figure sum and can be expected to impact all of Apple’s platforms on the day of its release.
