Leona Lewis Performs ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ At 2018 National Memorial Day Concert [Video]

Leona Lewis took front stage centre at the 29th Annual National Memorial Day Concert last night.

Together with a gospel choir, the songbird nested on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol and belted out a stirring rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge over Troubled Water.’

Despite a few shaky moments, Ms. Lewis knocked it all the way out of the park by the end.

It’s been three years since her last album, so we’re more than ready for her return – especially after watching this.

For, we’d love to see her belting out her own material now she’s in better voice than has been the case in recent years.
