In 2008, Lady GaGa scored one of her first major looks when she collaborated with the rapper Wale on the track ‘Chillin.’…released in 2009
Since then, Wale feels he has been snubbed, slighted and rejected by the performer and feels that his record sales (and perceived worth in the industry) has a lot to do with it.
His thoughts and feelings below….
We at the “Chillin’” video shoot talking like we friends, then we at the awards and she walked right past,/ She got seven, eight, nine number one records and the record we made never worked. ‘Why should I still care about Wale? His record sold 28,000.’ But in the studio we was homies. That was my first lesson. Not that I thought I’d be taking ****ing shots of Ciroc with Lady Gaga on a Friday night watching SVU, but put it this way: friendships fluctuate with how hot you are or how cold you are in the industry.
After sharing this with the ‘Fader’ he then had this to say about the ‘Starstruck’ star when asked if he would be interested in collaborating with her again.

He seemed to have left out that when he was going to go on tour with her, he has a problem that she attracted a lot of gays, and specifically said that’s not his type of crowd. What a dumb thing to say, especially from an up and coming rapper at the time. Money is money, it doesn’t have any sexual orientation dumny. Now he’s crying the victim.
Exactly. He’s trolling for sympathy yet failed to tell the whole story.
” . . . but put it this way: friendships fluctuate with how hot you are or how cold you are in the industry.”
Yup, and it’s always been true.
A couple off years ago he states he used her to appeal to a wider audience.
Guess she heard the tea ☕️
