Jessie J has made it common-practice to blow the roof off venues with her hurricane vocals. And last night at VH1’s ‘Dear Mama’ special she did exactly that.
Watched on by the likes of Diddy and Gabrielle Union, the 30-year-old launched into a spine-tingling medley of her single ‘Queen’ and ‘I’m Every Woman.’
Before the showing, she told the capacity crowd:
“I want to dedicate this performance to my mother; to Whitney Houston, who inspired me to start singing; and to every woman here tonight.”

That’s really good this reality show contestant was able to get a big platform like this. You hard ever see people who win competition shows from other countries appear in the US. Good for her. Too bad her career is/won’t go anywhere anymore!

She was all in that song! Girl she DID THAT but the whitney part was totally unnecessary but her song slayed slowed like that!
She slayed ….. Sweet Talker album still gets rotation. Queen is a real nice song that’s grown on me!
Flawless… she suits classy and refined ???. I see they took a leaf out of her styling and musical arrangement from her recent stint on ‘The Singer’. The stripped back version of ‘Queen’ was lit ?
Jessie J is another artist who doesnt get the appreciation she deserves. Hopefully one day that will change…
