I agree. His album is very hit or miss and the misses are just scattered and worrying. Production is on point as always though. Get well ‘Ye.
I agree, the album is dull and coming off the back of DAYTONA and the whole Drake/Pusha “beef” as well as his problematic comments it didn’t have anything him stop it being overshadowed.
If people don’t understand by now, critics are politically-motivated stans, now you know. Because a person maybe dislikable, doesn’t change the fact they can still make good music.
I’m sure he will soon say it’s because he’s a Trump supporter critics don’t love his album.
Damn…….. if this is ANY indication of how this generation views music in today’s climate. Smh. Onika may not have a chance at all. No shade at Cardi. She has PLENTY of room for growth. I really like her whole album (no skips). But I would think that these 3 artists are on different tiers lyrically. And in hip hop, the lyrical delivery is what’s MOST appreciated. But hey… .. time will tell.
