Nas and Jay Z were once locked in a bitter feud but reconciled in 2005. Unfortunately, some of the former’s fans feel he has been dealt an unfair hand now that his latest album ‘Nasir’ has seen its thunder stolen by the aforementioned ‘Love’ which dropped just days after.
How he feels about it?
Sources close to Nas tell us the Queensbridge rapper isn’t fuming about “Everything Is Love” being released on Saturday and doesn’t think the Carters will steal any thunder from his new album, “Nasir.” We’re told Nas fully appreciates the fact Jay and Bey are hip-hop royalty at this point, and actually really likes their new record.
‘Nasir’ was produced by Jay’s old friend Kanye West and has been shunned by some music lovers who have decided not to support it after Nas’ ex-wife Kelis claimed he beat her up several times during their chaotic marriage.
