Chance The Rapper is hard at work on a new album and while the set isn’t ready yet, he’s whetting appetites with four (yes four) fresh tracks.
Unleashed today were the cuts: ‘I Might Need Security,’ ‘Work Out,’ ‘Wala Cam,’ and ’65th & Ingleside.’
The musical quad arrive as a consolation of sorts for those awaiting Chance’s LP – which he recently promised was due this week.
Via Twitter, he informed supporters with an update saying:
“Sorry no album this week, def been in the stu tho.”
Take a listen to the first fruit of those sessions below…
Beyond these songs, Chance is also set to hit the lab with fellow Chi-Town native Kanye West for a special project. It’s not immediately clear if it’ll be for the as yet untiled follow-up to ‘Coloring Book’ or a standalone set ala Ye’s joint album with Kid Cudi (‘Kidz See Ghosts’).
Pending an answer, let us know whether you’re feeling the new songs below…
