The duo, who are comprised of Danity Kane alumni Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex, have kicked off their sophomore run with the the debut of new single ‘White Hot Lies.’
Launched in tandem with a New York pool party of the same name, does the track deliver on its promise of being a summer scorcher?

Something about the pair’s initial run, while showing potential, felt a little reactionary to the DK split; and almost came across like a “we must do something markedly different from Danity Kane” rather than an organic expedition.
With ‘White Hot Lies,’ however, they seem to have better centered their whimsical new sound with the brand of digestable Pop that made DK such a compelling listen.
We approve, do you?!

I actually loved the first Dumblonde project and all of the visuals. Really dope to see their roll out with an indie budget. This song is a hit! Can’t wait for the visualllllll!!!
Their last album was fire and very underrated. Even though Aubrey is annoying, she is talented and she and Shannon work well as a duo. More power to them
