Justin Timberlake just dropped a summer surprise on fans with the release of new song ‘SoulMate.’
The melodic radio-ready jam isn’t featured on recently released album ‘Man Of The Woods’ – which has experienced a less-than-stellar run since its arrival in February.
It also comes just one day after the 37-year-old shared a pic of himself in the studio with James Fauntleroy and Nineteen 85.
As at writing, the track’s roll-out lacks context and it’s not immediately been disclosed whether it forms part of a re-release, side project, or is simply standalone.
What is certain is that it awaits after the jump…
While this doesn’t pack the face-slapping ferocity of prior JT leads (and is somewhat “tropical” trend-hopping), it is effortlessly more engaging than much of the material on ‘Woods’. Easily.
The live instrumentation towards its climax was especially enjoyable too.
All in all, this serves as a catchy, ear-worm with melody that remains after first play.
Could this be the bridge to a comeback Justin needs? Let us know below…
