In an interview with 107.5 WGCI Chicago today, Yeezy revealed that has re-enlisted the services of John Monopoly – the man who managed the first 10 years of his career.
Interestingly, he’ll share duties with Scooter Braun – who West only just severed ties with this year.
Per the rapper himself, Monopoly will act as his primary rep, while Braun will take on more of an advisory role.
Playing down the backstage theatrics in his business circle, the 41-year-old says that Braun’s return is more of a paperwork “formality” and that he actually never stopped working together.
The news will come as a sigh of relief for fans of the polarizing star, who in April tweeted that he no longer has a manager; the effects of which were quite apparent with the erratic push for latest LP ‘Ye.’
Having apologized for calling “slavery a choice,” and now this, do you see Kanye turning the tide and re-integrating into people’s good graces?
