Without a smash hit to its name, the project failed to top the Billboard 200 in its opening week and saw her welcome her lowest pure sale figure to date in the United States.

It now seems, thanks to a fan base scattered across the globe, that the album’s commercial glory will be found in markets Europe, Asia, South America, Africa & Australia.

For, the set’s global opening figure sits north of the 500,000 units milestone powered by the digits she shifted in the U.K.

Nicki Minaj has the highest new album on the U.K.’s Official Charts this week with Queen (Island) entering at #5, while Miles Kane starts at #8 with Coup De Grace (Virgin EMI). Over on singles, George Ezra is back on top.

Helping its cause? ‘Majesty‘, the cut she recorded with the British act Labrinth and Eminem which soared into the chart and landed at #41 and ‘Barbie Dreams’ which opened at #36…currently outselling Ed Sheeran‘s ‘Perfect.’

Quite interestingly, ‘Queen’ is currently selling more copies than Travis Scott‘s ‘Astroworld’ which blocked her path to #1 in the United States and Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ which now sits at #2 on the Official Urban Chart.

The performer, who has spent the last few hours ranting about her U.S. sales figures on Twitter, is yet to celebrate news that the LP has reached the half a million marker globally.
