According to a new report, the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin is extremely ill and the prognosis is not looking positive.

Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411 exclusively reports that the legendary singer is in “grave condition” in Detroit and is currently surrounded by her close family – who are requesting prayers and privacy.
Franklin was first diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and, though she battled back to fighting form, her condition has been the subject of much debate in recent years. Particularly in the wake of drastic weight loss and canceled shows. She has, in most instances, denied anything was wrong.
Her last performance was on November 2nd 2017 for the Elton John AIDS Foundation in New York, while last public offering was at Philadelphia’s Mann Center in August last year – the latter of which she fought through exhaustion and dehydration to give.
