The Destiny’s Child love-fest continues.
Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s ‘On The Run II Tour’ charged into Queen Bey’s hometown of Houston this week and was attended by a number of notable names – including former bandmate LaTavia Roberson.
The DC original has long been supportive of the ‘Formation’ performer publicly, but admits there hadn’t been much communication since departing the group.
That’s all changed now though, because after 18 years Bey and Roberson had an emotional reunion backstage.

Sharing a series of snaps from the encounter, the 36-year-old wrote:
It was so wonderful sharing a laugh and spending time with my FRIEND of 30 yrs…..hadn’t seen Bey in 18 yrs. My mother @cheryl_lastrap is clearly tickled. The children are amazing “Everything IS Love”???
The meet-up took place jus a few days after Bey and LeToya posed backstage together too.
We’re loving the love!
Now, given that “anything can happen,” it’d be awesome to see ALL the Destiny’s Child ladies (Bey, Kelly, Michelle, LeToya, and LaTavia) together on-stage for something…anything. Even if only to accept an award. It’d be a definition of a full circle moment.
Until then, we’ll continue to bask in the glorious nostalgia radiating from these beautiful pics!

Home girl looks so good now. I’m so glad she got out of that funk she was in because at one point….whew Chile.
Anyway. I am really hoping that when DC3 decides to make new music and give us a killer tour that they become DC5 and bring LeToya and LaTavia with them. To the the original 4 perform With Me and No No No would just be magical. My whole childhood, tearing up just thinking about it.
Picture it y’all. The original 4 performs all the music release prior to Michelle. Then DC3 performances all the music after the disband. And then all 5 join together to perform new music. SCREAMSSSSS

I love this!! They look like best friends. I was really hoping for an original Destiny’s Child reunion at Coachella, seeing how this year marked 20 years for them all in the industry. I just hope one is coming!
I don’t ever think there will be a DC5 Reunion or accepting any awards unless it’s DC3… there is a possibility of just including Toya & Tavia in 1 performance but nothing more… bcuz DC became iconic as a trio! DC3 Beyonce Kelly Michelle!
They would’ve been iconic regardless though. Michelle hopped on a bus that was already rolling because “Say My Name” was THE hit and LaTavia and LeToya’s vocals are on that iconic album. I see what you mean though bc the people saw Michelle when all of that really hit. I love me some Michelle too tho… I REALLY hope they can make it all work somehow with at least A performance

A reunion would benefit the other members more than anything, especially LaTavia because she has no career at the moment. Well said but to have a reunion all 3 members has to agress well atleast Bey and Kelly as they still is the members. But i also wonder on another hand Mathew always said that he owns the group name.. That the messed up mess he was doing back then because we always heard momma Tina said she got the name out the dictionary or or something like that..
Mathew owns the name so of they wanted to do a reunion they would probably pull a DK and called themselves DC5 or something.
Beyonce looked like she just shot the NoNoNo video yesterday. Wow she looks amazing. People really be hating on Latavia on social media..I have no idea why. She went through alot after the split. She looks great also especially after all she went through.
