As Afrobeats titans go, few stand as a statuesque as Davido.

And with the Nigerian superstar having conquered his home continent, he’s now feeling the magnetic pull of the world at large.

Indeed, hits such as ‘If’ and ‘Fall’ have attracted global attention and catapulted the star into a new strata.

The US especially have embraced him, so it was only fitting that he stopped by The Breakfast Club ahead of his sold-out New York concert.

Chopping it with Charlamagne and DJ Envy, Davido (who was born in Atlanta before hitting it big in Naija) lifted the lid of his cross cultural upbringing, his start in music, and a whole lot more.
