Teyana Taylor‘s ‘KTSE’ album launch may not have been the smoothest (under the tutelage of Kanye West), but the R&B star is pressing on nonetheless.
Fresh from wrapping a like-titled tour, the 27-year-old took to the stage on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to perform two of the LP’s most notable numbers.
Backed by a full band, the songbird sewed together a medley of ‘Gonna Love Me’ and ‘Rose In Harlem.’

Teyana being a skilled performer isn’t new news, so it was a cert of sorts that she’d deliver a certain tier of performance – which she did.
However, given the length and breadth of her abilities, as well as the potency of the platform, we’d have much preferred she went all-out, choreo and all, rather than offering up something moody and introspective. With slots like these, it’s about arresting the minds, ears, and attention of the masses. Something we feel could have been achieved better with a more “in four face” showing.
Still, solid performance.
