Britney Spears is heading back to Las Vegas – officially.

After months of speculation, the singer confirmed that she’ll be setting sail on her second Sin City residency, which has a confirmed title of ‘Britney: Domination.’

Details below…

The reveal was made in at an elaborate launch event at the Park Theater (within the new Park MGM resort).

Britney, who arrived in superstar fashion, said of her sophomore Vegas concert series:

“I am so happy to be returning to my second home – Las Vegas! I’m working on a brand-new show and I’m so excited for my fans to see it! It’s going to be so much fun being back on stage and I can’t wait to perform at Park Theater.”

‘Britney: Domination’ is billed as embodying the 36-year-old’s “strong, take-charge attitude when she returns to the city with her new show”

It’s further touted as being “designed to give her fans and concertgoers an immersive experience, it’ll bring them closer to the excitement than ever before as they party, dance and sing along to her amazing catalogue of hit songs.”

The show follows Spears’ wildly successful Vegas debut ‘Britney: Piece Of Me’ – which grossed $140 million and played to almost 1 million people since its 2013 opening.

Initially comprised of 32 shows, ‘Domination’ tickets go on-sale on October 26th. Here’s the itinerary:

Hardly surprising and, in many ways, a smart move.

Britney, authentically, is one of the first acts to redefine the semantics of a Las Vegas residency. Indeed, it’s vividly clear that in one regard she’s embracing her status as a heritage act (cashing in on her classics), yet she also remains a wholly viable contemporary Pop diva; one whose new releases are still greeted with collective excitement. It’s a rare duality that more and more are wanting to mirror.

Case in point Lady Gaga, who too will be performing her ‘Enigma’ residency at the very same venue beginning this December. The ladies will be alternating there – which serves as a huge coup for the Park Theater.
