How does one follow-up the slayage that was Beyonce’s BeyChella?
For the organizers of Coachella 2019, it seems the answer lies in tapping some of music’s most polarizing names to headline next year’s bill.
Details below…
Sources close to Hits Daily Double reveal that Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, and Childish Gambino will top the 2019 roster.
Set to take place April 12th-14th and April 19th-21st in Indio, California, the trio’s respective slots would see Gambino (who last performed at the festival in 2012) up first on Friday, followed by JT on Saturday, and Yeezy on Sunday. It’ll mark West’s third slot at Coachella, following a performance in 2006 and headline spot in 2011.
Now, it’s worth stressing that the official announcement isn’t made until January. But much like the Super Bowl, when sources like this “surface” they almost always hold true.
The timing is apt too.
Despite professionally trolling with release dates, Kanye is releasing an album sometime soon, Timberlake is confirmed to be working on new material, and Gambino has the follow-up to ‘Awaken, My Love’ due imminently. The two latter acts have also been building up their live momentum this year with the ‘Man Of The Woods Tour’ and ‘This Is America Tour’ respectively.

Surely we’re not the only ones a lil “meh” about this? BeyChella was always going to be a tough act to top, but this just feels blah.
Kanye is exhausting to even think about these days and Justin has been consistent in his ability to leave everything desired (see: Super Bowl).
In any case, there’s always the undercard.
