Nicki Minaj is set to etch her name in history books yet again if new reports are to be believed.
On the verge of extending her history-making mark on singles charts by garnering her 100th Hot 100 entry with Little Mix‘s ‘Woman Like Me’ (click here to listen), news has it the rapstress is now being greeted with news her fourth studio effort – ‘Queen’ – is now officially eligible for platinum certification.
Details inside:
‘Queen,’ with the assistance of generous streaming figures from its releases “Barbie Dreams,” “Chun-Li,” “Rich Sex” featuring Lil Wayne, ‘Ganja Burn,’ “FEFE” with Tekashi 6ix9ine, and more, went Gold in less than one month after its debut (click here to see that report). Now, with those tunes’ continued digital download and streaming figures (in addition to the set’s traditional album sales) Minaj is seeing the parent set propelled past the platinum threshold of 1 million units consumed.
The LP will not be crowned until the official announcement is made by the RIAA, but if and when it does it would make ‘Queen’ her fourth consecutive opus to earn the achievement.
