Usher mysteriously teased his return earlier today and has followed through with the release of brand new project, ‘A.’
The 8-track collection, which is named after his hometown of Atlanta and was executive produced by Zaytoven, is the star’s first effort since 2016’s ‘Hard II Love’ and the first since he became embroiled in a seismic herpes scandal.
Looking to turn the tide, he serves up a set that skillfully sews his trademark brand of butter-smooth R&B with hard(er) hitting songs that place him in the thick of today’s Hip-Hop dominated climate. What’s more, he paired the project with features from fellow Atlantan star Future and more giving a nod throughout to ATL culture.
Really though, what are you waiting for? New Ush after the jump…
His worst album.
This! The only person feeling this “album” is Quantasia Sharpton! Homegirl is dropping it ALL the way down to the floor right about now and ain’t even worried about picking it back up lmaooooo ? Treat a grocery store like a gift shop! ?
This isn’t ushers album. This is a joint album with him and Zay.
Well good, cause Hurricane Flop is coming chile ?
Screaming ???
Out of the (8) songs on this “album” I only like (2) – “Say What U Want” and “You Decide”. The song “Peace Sign” has potential.
He really could have kept this.
☕️
I enjoyed the album….
I was listening to confessions yesterday. ‘Throwback’ is my jam!
As ia die-hard Usher fan who always defends him i was extremely disappointed to find out about this project. Relived to hear its not an true Usher album. The music is ok actually but we all want and waiting for the real JD produced R&B Usher album that’s coming.
Garbage….
I don’t understand these less than 10 tracks “albums”, if so, it shouldn’t be a single filler on it. I would never buy.
These are EPs, bit albums.
Right. How is 8 songs an album and not an EP?
I actually liked it ??♂️
Me personally I like it for what it is …
A.T.A, You Decide and Say what u want r killer tracks. This album is way better than H2L.
He needs to release all them three songs as singles
All the songs sound the same. Usher lost all his creativity and is just a trend-hopper. Nothing he puts out sounds even the slightest original anymore. Even if this is just a joint-effort, it wasn’t needed. He should’ve just waited and came out with the actual album w/ JD. This isn’t gonna help people be interested in his new music. He needs to stop with the lame trap beats and start doing something fresh.
