I vehemently reject the trend in hip-hop of championing abusers and I will not hold my tongue about it. I don’t give a **** about getting attention. I care about bringing awareness and holding people accountable for their actions.
I understand his message especially since he spoke about his own discrepancies from back in the day on his own accord.??
I can never take him seriously because he’s always angry about someone or something. And I never liked that xxx dude anyway.
But wasn’t he bragging on choking his ex girlfriend and its on the breakfast club too. Smh top of that whether a fan of X or not, since when was it good to talk bad on the dead? Especially when there’s man ALIVE he could’ve mentioned? this was attention seeking.
I totally agree, as I heard the same thing (the bragging on The Breakfast Club)…what they call those people…#Hypocrites
He is so s*** and so woke.
X didn’t run from the consequences and move on to repeat the behavior. He was facing court and making an attempt to turn things around based on his final song and video where he is fighting against the darker side of himself and trying to break free from his own shadow. Only time would’ve been able to tell how committed he really was to becoming a better person and learning to respect women.
Thank you Eric….well said
That is the popular narrative yes.
