Ariana Grande followed in the footsteps of Adele and Sam Smith by securing her own BBC special.
Aptly titled ‘Ariana Grande At The BBC,’ the hour-long spectacle saw the songbird take vocal flight while performing tracks from her new album ‘Sweetener.’
Having aired last night in the UK, one of the production’s most notable moments came when the 25-year-old delivering a rousing showing of growing hit ‘Breathin.’
Backed by an orchestra, Ari soared.
Watch her in action below…
Gorgeous!
Vocally and sonically, this was stellar.
Our gripe is that we wish Ms. Grande would open her eyes and engage the audience more.
It’s clear that she immerses herself into the performance, but like the legendary Whitney Houston proved, it’s possible to do that while still giving arms, eyes, face, and drama! Selling the song and its narrative all the more.
Maybe that’s how she feels most comfortable singing. Maybe that works for her. You all need to stop trying to tell artist what they should be doing and just enjoying what they are doing. I mean you are just a blog of writers while they are the performers.
Never mind what I said, Sam wrote this. This queen is and will always be hurting on the inside. Continue on gurl.
THIS TOO!
