For, the superstar songstress has just made a masterstroke move – she’s becoming sole owner of her alth-leisure line Ivy Park.

Launched in 2016, Ivy Park arrived as a 50/50 joint venture between Bey and Topshop boss Sir Phillip Green.
However, it’s been confirmed that the diva’s company Parkwood have purchased the other half of the business for un undisclosed sum.
In a statement made today, a rep for Bey said:
“After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100 per cent of the Ivy Park brand. Topshop/Arcadia will fulfill the existing orders.”
The development comes at a notable time.
Green is under fire, after his name became entangled in the global backlash against sexual harassment. Indeed, though no claims have been publisized, it was revealed that he had secured a gag of sorts on staff and the press preventing the reporting of any allegations. A move that has raised eyebrows in earnest.
It’s safe to assume to that the drama may have factored into Parkwood’s decision to sever ties.
Whatever the case though, it’ll be interesting to see what occurs next. Will Ivy Park land at another major retailer? Will it pivot in a different direction as a business? The move brings with it opportunity for a reboot of sorts, so it’ll be intriguing to observe what transpires.
