British Vogue have announced the ‘New Rules’ singer as the face of their January edition to be released this Friday.
Aptly titled ‘The Future Issue’ – the magazine will highlight the work of young and new individuals across the media spectrum – from photography to fashion.
The cover shoot was lensed by Nadine Ijewere who has become the first ever Black woman to shoot a Vogue cover, an impressive feat in herself.
23-year-old Lipa expressed her excitement on her Twitter account saying:
“I am so filled with Gratitude for this and it’s a milestone I will hold so close to my heart.”
