Chaka’s creative seeds have borne the fruit that is ‘Hello Happiness’, an album which celebrates her journey and the joy she has discovered in recent years.
It hits stores on February 15th and offers fans insight into her new world via songs which pull from the “old” and wink at the new to deliver what some insiders say is some of the entertainer’s best work thus far.

TGJ never put the word “comeback” with a legend. They can do whatever they want. Comeback is used for the so-called artist y’all be stanning for like Rita Ora and Tinashe
The intro seemed too long, but Chaka’s vocals were great once she took the lead. She’s in her 60s and, of course, has her fan base in mind, but I just feel like there’s got to be stronger material out there for an artist of her caliber.
Case in point: Imagine if CK had come out with Tell Me Something Good, Please Pardon Me, or Through the Fire today. Fire!
Also, interesting that CK is only releasing 7 tracks — evolving with the times.
