Drake has cemented himself as a global chart phenom and now he’s set to take the live circuit by storm in a major way.
For, fresh from announcing a colossal European Spring tour, Drizzy has been announced as a headliner at Rock In Rio.
Putting to end speculation that the Hip-Hop titan wouldn’t be playing the huge event – which, in the past, has been top-billed by the likes of Beyonce – organisers formally revealed his involvement moments ago.
They took to Twitter to trumpet:
Confirmed! Drake will be the headliner of the first night of
#RockinRio 2019. There comes a remarkable and unforgettable experience in the city of Rock. ?
Drizzy’s performance will take place on September 27th and is expected to be live-streamed to a worldwide audience.
I’m sorry he’s not who I look to for music, I think of him as Aubrey Graham from Degrassi on Nickelodeon..??♂️
