New Video: Trey Songz – ‘Chi Chi (ft. Chris Brown)’

Published: Monday 4th Feb 2019 by Sam

Trey Songz has just unzipped new winter warmer in the form of Chris Brown collaboration ‘Chi Chi.’

The track, which arrived today alongside its vibrant (and scantily clad) video, is the first offering from Trigga’s upcoming new album. A set which follows last Fall’s dual mixtape offerings ’11’ and ’28.’

What are you waiting for? Watch the Jon J directed video after the jump…

Though familiar territory for Trey (both sonically and visually), ‘Chi’ fits right in the thick of what’s working on radio. And with the Virginia native having been out of the spotlight for a lengthy spell, a hit is what any sort of comeback calls for. So, it’s a smart play.

Trey Songz is the cringiest dude I swear . He forces this ‘womanizer’ image in the same fashion of R.Kelly .. and we all know the deal with Kels .

he always seems uncomfortable. it indeed is awkward to watch lol especially the blank stare with the lips lol.

I feel this track!! Chris Brown usually always has a hit vocal for each of his duets…

Cool but why this song only 2 mins? They couldn’t do a bridge or 3rd verse?

I’m sure we will forget about this one in a few months like we do the others that sound like it.

Video was cute, even despite it being their usual schtick. Don’t care for the song though. But seeing how short it is, this probably isn’t an official single for anything.

I don’t know why I expected anything different from these two. They’ve been wasting their potential for years. There is no longevity in music and videos like this. Even for R. Kelly the ride ended before the age of 50. Chris and Trey are selling an image that won’t last past 40.

it wont last past 30….. trey (34) expired about 4-5 yrs ago and Chris (29) just wont stop long enough to take a break to regroup to make quality music.

Basic video. Forgettable song. I need them to do better.
