Surrounded by her husband Carey Hart and their two children, the 39-year-old was cheered on as her name was immortalised on the famed Los Angeles strip.
Speaking on the “surreal” honor, she added:
“I feel like I’m dreaming and if anyone pinches me, I’m gonna punch them in the left eyebrow.
I feel like a lot of people probably only thought I would make it to the walk of shame, but here I am.”
She went on to salute her father, who she says pushed her to pursue her biggest, boldest dreams and encouraged others to look within and have faith in self:
“Today for me is a celebration of something that my dad taught me and that is — to thine own self be true.
There is a power in believing in yourself, there is a power in not giving up on life and not giving up on yourself. “
Prior to the ceremony, Pink stopped by the Ellen show. During the appearance, which airs on today’s broadcast, she revealed that not only is she dropping a new song ‘Walk Me Home’ in a matter of weeks but will be releasing her eighth studio album in April. She confirmed its title as ‘Hurts To Be Human.’
