Just hours after learning two brothers were arrested in connection with the attack on ‘Empire’ star Jussie Smollett (as we reported here), Chicago police have released the men with no charges filed.
Details inside:
In light of new evidence discovered, the department’s chief communications officer – Anthony Guglielmi – took to Twitter to announce the Nigerian siblings, Abimbola “Abel” and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo (seen above), were no longer detained after the day’s interrogations.
As previously reported, the actors/bodybuilding models – who have also worked as extras on ‘Empire’ – had their home raided by police before being arrested. Among the items discovered during that raid were containers of bleach, masks, rope, and an ‘Empire’ script. Click here to read more on that.
