Just a day after learning her single, ‘7 Rings,’ reclaimed the top rung on the Billboard Hot 100, Ariana Grande took to Albany, New York’s Times Union Center to kick off her highly anticipated ‘Sweetener’ world tour in support of the tune’s parent album, ‘thank u, next,’ and the jaunt’s 2018-released namesake.
Tapping former Fifth Harmony member Normani as her opening act (click here to see pictures and videos), Grande took the stage in grand style to belt out her hits ‘thank u, next,’ ‘Breathin’,’ ‘Dangerous Woman,’ ‘Love Me Harder,’ ‘Into You,’ and many more from her short, but storied 6 year music career.

i love what someone said in the other post – pop culture works in rotating packages You are either A: Vocalist, Dancer Entertainer (Beyoncé) B: Dancer Entertainer (Ciara, Notmani) or C: Vocalist (Adele). Ariana manages to inoffensively dip into all three and for her fan demographic this is just fine.
Haterz will seeth and stay mad but she is pitch perfect live in these videos and even chose not to mime to the backing track when doing the chair routine sass choreo on Break Up With Your Girlfriend.
There might be another chic come up in the game but no one is doing it so slick like Ariana – and she has the vocal chops to boot.
That auditorium looks small as hell for a girl who is ruling pop music at the moment.
She can sing but will forever be a watered down version of 90s Mariah and her Bratz Doll style is tired AF
