It’s almost Mother’s Day and VH1 have lined up an impressive list of names to salute matriarchs on their ‘Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Mom’ special.

In an announcement made moments ago, it was revealed that Ciara will be on-hand at the LA ceremony to celebrate the #SeeHer initiative, which honors deserving moms for their work toward the organization’s goal of increasing accurate representation of females in the media.
Elsewhere, H.E.R and Ashanti (whose mom manages her) will be taking to the stage to perform.
Additional names will be revealed in the coming weeks.
VH1’s ‘Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Mom’ tapes May 2nd at The Theatre (Ace Hotel) and airs on May 6th.
