Rita Ora may be busy thrilling audiences worldwide on the ‘Phoenix Tour,’ but she still has new single ‘Only Want You’ on the mind.

The track has been issued as the latest offering from the singer’s hit-filled sophomore set – ‘Phoenix’ – following smashes such as ‘Let Me Love You’ and ‘Your Song.’

To assist its push, the 27-year-old teamed up with Spotify, for whom she performed an acoustic version of the song. As a bonus, she also served up a spirited cover of Joni Mitchell‘s ‘Big Yellow Taxi.’

We’ve long loved to see Rita put her vocal gravitas on front-street, especially given that her recordings are often polished to perfection for radio.

With this offering, she didn’t disappoint. More power to her.

Now, we’d be happy campers if she closed out her album cycle with hit-in-waiting ‘New Look’ and readied fresh material to drop by the year’s end.

Because while she savvily conquered the hurdles that saw six years pass between her first and second albums, the task now will be to keep that momentum going with absolutely no let up.
