The truth is simple: Ally Brooke‘s ‘Lips Don’t Lie’ is nothing short of a banger.
The Urban-tinged cut, seasoned similarly to that of its predecessor (the Tyga-assisted ‘Low Key’), was produced by Elof Loelv and Oscar Görres. sees Brooke call upon another Hip Hop hitmaker for assistance – A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
Shortly after the song made its premiere in full (May 24), the 25-year-old sent fans into a frenzy by unveiling its simple, yet effective music video. Look inside to see Ally serve up her most sultry looks to date:
Slayed….I love it! It gives that early 2000 urba/pop bop but still modern ???
I,like it, but She sounds like Camilla on this track. Dont you think?
I think FH disbanded to fast. None of them were groomed enough to be solo stars that’s why they are all having a hard time making a really big impact. I think they needed to solidify their fan base as a group like DC did then break off.
I agree. Even with Camila. IDK how she got so much love and success solo and period with her mousy vocals but I guess. She is the definition of basic. Lauren was my favorite but she isn’t producing Top 40 Pop/R&B music so I mean… shrug.

This song is trash!
Uh you just said it she’s basic. Basic artist are in now cause they give hope to basic jacks and Jills around the world that they too can make it big with a catchy song and no real vocal talent.
This! I realized just how uninteresting Camila is once she went solo.
I don’t know what FH was thinking when they disbanded.
“I agree. Even with Camila. IDK how she got so much love and success solo and period with her mousy vocals but I guess.” – You have to know the dynamic with her, Fifth Harmony’s labels, and the rest of the members. The labels and management favored and pushed her and she and her manger, with support from the label, had started setting up her solo career long before she officially left the group. She was given the connections, resources, PR, etc, and encouraged to disassociate from the others. Why do you think things went down like they did, and the label worked with her to create her solo space and sabotaged the other four while they were in the group for a long time. They were never given the leeway she was given. She had everything handed to her since before leaving, and she left and the label signed her as a solo artist, the label just needed to put in the promo and find the right catchy hit to payola.
I couldn’t sit through this video that is literally nothing but close ups on her lips. LoL.
#budget
Keyword: Urban-tinged. That wig she made out of hay and those lip fllers are not it.
Nobody needed to see those closeups.
The song is a buzz but the video direction is poor. I could have given her a better treatment. She sounds a lot like Nicole Scherzinger from PCD.
the song is cute. gj ally
She and the songs her team’s released is SO generic. But I guess that’s what impressionable fans find fun. Her label’s very good at throwing money and promoting the songs should do well.
