Expect to see Queen of Pop Madonna pop up over headlines galore over the coming days as she hits the promo trail to commemorate the release of her 14th studio album, ‘Madame X.’ Dropping in for radio, magazine, newspaper, television, and Web interviews, the 60-year-old diva has had segments air (today alone) in multiple countries on prime television spots including ‘The Today Show,’ ‘Graham Norton Show,’ and so many more.
The set – preceded by five singles – has not exactly been greeted with the buzz of its predecessors, but that hasn’t stopped the Pop icon from raising awareness on the project which, despite the absence of commercial fanfare for its singles, has been getting great reviews from esteemed music critics. Some of that success is being reflected digitally as a number of reports – including from Madonna’s team (click here to see) – have indicated ‘Madame X’ debuted at #1 on the iTunes tallies of a number of countries (including the United States).

This album is so good I have no choice but to forgive her for those vocoded singles. “I Don’t Search I Find”, “God Control”, “Faz Gostoso”, and “Looking For Mercy” are stand out songs for me.
Those tracks alone are great especially if everyone give them an honest full listen. Sometimes people form their opinions too harshly or quickly over snippets without listening to it in full. Thus their reasons easily appears to be so bias. if they truly reviewed by listening to each track in full then state their views rather than say “retire, flop, ect” like state your valid point of your reason I’m sure we can all have a simple “ Agree to disagree”

If those songs are so good then they should have been the single. Aint nobody but fans gonna waste their time or money listening to an album digging for a good song. Also, your assumptions on why many people dislike this new album is laughable because you do not know whether or not they listened to the album. You just assume they listened to snippet but do you know? NO
@ Jasmine I didn’t go by no assumptions at all. I said a “ majority “ on here THIS VERY SITE. I even used examples of this we see being commented “ retire, flop, awful, ect” yet nobody logically has said their valid reasons for why they don’t like the album yet again check the last post and tell me where I could be assuming where’s everyone isn’t stating a fact instead hurl out insults instead some have even said couldn’t listen no more than a minute or two to form a honest thought.
Why do u care what others think? If u like it then good for u. If others don’t then good for them. Making assumptions or feeling compelled to listen to the album is what stand do. Relax.

Nobody said the whole album is good, but we won’t deny there are some tracks that should’ve been singles instead.

@mm: That has been my experience with the record. The songs released early are dreadful but the songs on the album are SO MUCH BETTER….looking forward to seeing what the tour brings.

The album is horrible. And that’s not based on snippets, I forced myself to listen to the whole thing praying that something would stand out. And saying how many countries it went to #1 is pointless now that iTunes is becoming extinct.
