in your heart of hearts, do you genuinely feel that Nicki is rooting for Meg’s real, crossover, mainstream success?
as i see it, just from a human perspective (non fan hive/stan culture related), Nicki Minaj only champions for broads in the rap game who she thinks or feels will remain in the URBAN market.
I don’t see Nicki featuring Meg on her fifth album or doing too many more of these “lives” once Meg truly starts climbing charts & entering the mainstream spaces that Nicki solely occupied prior to Cardi B’s reign.

im just trying to figure out how it is that grown folks who have clearly witnessed Nicki in action, could think that there is anything genuine or pure about her being “friendly” to the new up & coming rap goddess. there are ulterior motives in this public spectacle between them. in my opinion, Nicki is on persona damage control. otherwise, she knows this forthcoming 5th LP will face the same commercial & critical fate as last summer’s Queen release — a heavily panned project that had the potential for greatness!

you totally & completely missed my point. WOW! I sometimes forget that Nicki’s core fan base aren’t comprised of individuals with cognitive brain capabilities. SWEETIE.. did you even read my questions & statements for comprehension or clarity? UGH! you’re obviously about… 21/22?? smh.
This is where the Nicki Hate train baffles me. It’s so easy for the hate train to have this one track mind and perception of Nicki that you cannot fathom another narrative of this tale even if it were to fall out the sky and grab you by the hair follicles. When Nicki came in the came (as we have SEEN — she showed love to some of the greats, clearly insipired by some, and minded her own business). Kim got salty over some deal gone bad with cash money (how is this nickis fault?) and jabs were thrown, songs were made, and Nicki even said in an interview that it was over.
Fast forward, Cardi comes out — Nicki embraced her by sending her congrats on her first #1 — even allowed her to come on a track with her that she was NOT originally featured on. Included a line that actually was an extreme compliment to Cardi “If Cardi the QB, i’m Nick Lombardi” essentially if Cardi the one in charge of this game and the star athlete, then i’m the goal the trophy that rap girls hope to become one day (in terms of success).
Now this is where everyone needs to open there eyes and realize the narrative y’all been fed may actually be false. The internet, cardi’s team, etc. started making Cardi feel that since Nicki was public enemy number 1 and she was hot — it would be in her benefit to hop on that hate train and pay nicki dust (since it is the popular thing to do) and it would only help her rise. Cardi allowed the internet to create a beef and instead of killing that beef she fed into it — drank the water — believing unverified tweets and stan accounts (who photoshopped many tweets/instagram post). Kim, Remy, who claim they are about real hip-hop threw their support behind cardi because it was easier to kick nicki while she was down. Not to mention, Cardi ran with that fake narrative about what REALLY happened during the motorsport collaboration and videoshoot because it showed Nicki in a bad light. Why didn’t she just shut it down altogether? Instead she allowed everyone to think that Nicki changed her verse for no reason, and ditched the video shoot to not appear with her. NONE OF THAT IS TRUE.
The difference between Megan and Cardi — is not only has she shown everyone some type of love or respect. She is NOT allowing no one to dictate or change how she authentically feels about Nicki. She acknowledges that in her opinion Nicki has been a major influence for her AND regardless of what the blogs are trying to stir up she is not falling for it. Shows genuine love.
MEGAN REQUESTED NICKI TO GO LIVE. MEGAN BROUGHT UP COLLABORATION. MEGAN ASKED TO LINK UP AND FOR NICKI NOT TO RUN FRIEND. MEGAN INITIATED THAT CONVERSATION during a late-night when Nicki was having a personal live for her fans. How are y’all twisting this to be some “contrived” or “appeal to the public” — they had a great conversation about school, tips on her first album, and a little fun jamming to some tracks and you guys still find a negative. I enjoy Cardi as well, but she has to stop allowing her team, label, bitter OG’s, and the internet dictate and cloud her mind. You can’t be believing any tweet from a twitter account with 4 followers and a photo of a cartoon..come on man. Cardi needs to learn the internet isn’t the all knowing fact-checker and somethings can be construed by others and amplified when it isn’t that deep.
Y’all the problem. You want to believe the narrative so bad — it kills you to think maybe all this time you guys had it all wrong. Any female that has shown Nicki love has received love. Those who have shown love — only to turn around and s*** on her name cause it’s convenient and what’s popular…have received less love. How is she wrong for that?
Nicki doesn’t seem genuine at all in that live exchange with Meg. But that’s just my opinion, not fact so I say it humbly lol. I agree with Brent. Nicki wouldn’t be on that live with Meg if she wasn’t blowing up. So why is she on the live with her now? Nicki wasn’t on live while Meg was trying to make it but at the same time Nicki is not required to do so, it’s just that if she did, i’d Believe that it’s genuine now.
@king kong, you mentioned Kim and Cardi but didn’t mention remy, who claims Nicki was doing shady stuff behind the scenes to block her bag. I think it was the shether period that made people question her character even more.
@Interac – I respect your opinion. The live caught her extremely off guard though. You can tell Meg was drunk and since her fans kept hyping her up to go live with Nicki she was like what the hell. You can tell that Nicki was skeptical and was afraid to speak freely from fear of being burned at the stake with anything she said being taken out of context. Which is kinda sad if you think about it.
@Interac – Remy side, Nickis side, then the truth. I understand Remy said that but no receipts were shown with verifiable proof from any of these women that Nicki did something to stop their bag. A lot of the information in Shether was fed to her by Safaree, Meek, and other people who disliked Nicki…so i’d take a lot of that stuff with a grain of salt, but I agree after Shether you noticed a definite shift in the GP opinion on her.
