Tank enjoyed a resurgence of sorts thanks to his 2017 LP ‘Savage,’ which features the platinum hit, ‘When We’ (his first Hot 100 entry since 2007’s ‘Please Don’t Go’).
Looking to capitalize off the renewed interest, the R&B singer-songwriter has lifted the lid on news surrounding its follow-up, ‘Elevation.’ Arriving courtesy of Atlantic Records, the set – preceded by singles ‘I Don’t Think You’re Ready’ and the Chris Brown-assisted ‘Dirty’ – is scheduled to hit stores just a week after the crooner sets sail on the North American ‘Sketchbook’ tour with Grammy winning songstress Fantasia (click here to see dates).
Speaking on the new project, Tank said:
“This album is about going to the next level, rising to the occasion of success and giving my fans the best music I have to give,” he said. “R&B is my legacy and in my veins…I want to lead the charge to bring it back to its rightful place at the top of the charts.”
His 9th studio album, the effort will feature appearances from Chris Brown, Keith Sweat, actor/poet Omari Hardwick, JoJo, Luke James, etc. in addition to production from the likes of J Valentine, Cardiak, Harmony, Doh Boy and more.
Check for ‘Elevation’ when it hits stores October 25th.
